Is Speed Seduction Right For You?
Speed Seduction is marketed as a course that can be used by people of any age, regardless of their background or previous success with women. That is true, but there’s a few questions you have to ask yourself to determine if Speed Seduction is really right for you.
1. Where do you sarge/meet/approach women?: If you’re interested in meeting women in bars and clubs, then you might need to also study Mystery Method and get some experience on approaching women effectively in bars and clubs. Combine Mystery Method with Speed Seduction and you are going to be amazingly effective in the clubs.
Ross Jeffries admits that he doesn’t do a lot of his sarging and approaching in bars, and tends to meet them in places like coffee shops and yoga classes, where the women are more plentiful and the odds are more in your favour.
2. Do you have good tonality/speaking patterns?: A lot of people aren’t conscious about how their voices sound. They hear themselves on answering machines and go “Who the hell is that guy?” You have to be conscious of how you are speaking. Especially with Speed Seduction, if your tonality isn’t good, then you can come off as a little creepy. You can search Google for “vocal tonality exercises” and Neil Strauss has a lot of good information on improving vocal tonality in his book “Rules of the Game”.
Here’s a few quick tips: Record yourself talking, and notice all the nervous pauses like “umm…ahhh..eh…”. Speak again, and be conscious of eliminating those pauses. Another thing is that people will often have a kind of rising, questioning tone at the end of their statements, like they aren’t really sure. Try to eliminate that questioning tone and inflection, so you come off as more sure and authoritative.
3. Do you have good body language: Work on improving your posture and the way you hold yourself. Eliminate fidgety movement. Stop bouncing around so much when you talk. Let your voice be animated not your body.
4. Are you intelligent?: Although Ross is extremely good at explaining his techniques and technology, if you’re not the brightest light then you might have a problem applying this information. It’s not really for dummies.
5. Are you funny? Do you have a good sense of humour?: Some people don’t have a sense of humour. Don’t be “the man that fun forgot”. Take stand-up comedy, improv classes to improve your timing and the way you respond to the unfamiliar scenarios and situations. Speed Seduction requires that kind of humour and carefree attitude, or else, again, you can kind of come off as creepy.
6. Have you seen Tyler Durden’s 25 points post?: One of the best posts ever made on the mistakes that guys make when going out and meeting women. Here it is, in it’s entirety http://www.venusianartsforum.com/showthread.php?t=9
If you’ve mastered all these areas, then definitely Jeffries has a lot of things it can teach you to help improve your game and the success you have with women.
